City of Hickory Election Information

The City of Hickory’s general election or city offices is Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Early (One Stop) continues through this Saturday, July 23. Voters will choose City Council members and the Mayor.

This election was delayed until now because the 2020 Census information was not ready in time for last fall.

What’s On Your July Ballot, hickory?

After July 5, City of Hickory Voters may also go to VOTE411, (available in English and Spanish) enter your address to Find What’s On Your Ballot including candidates’ profiles and responses to local questions.

All voters can view sample ballots through VOTE411. Information from candidates is made available with the support of League volunteers. Don’t see your local candidates? It may be because we need some members in your particular area. Join us to help expand coverage to your community!

fall 2022 Unifour General Elections 

General election day for the Unifour is Tuesday, November 8, 2022.  (The City of Hickory will also hold general elections for all other local, state, and federal offices on November 8.)

ONE-STOP (EARLY) VOTING DAYS & HOURS

Begins Thursday, July 7. Ends Saturday, July 23.

July 18-22: 8am – 5:00pm

July 23: 8am – 3:00pm

All One-Stop (early) voting is at Highland Recreation Center, 1451 8th St Dr NE, Hickory.

Remember, Election Day voting sites are not always the same as One Stop (Early) voting sites.

Election Day is july 26 from 6:30 AM-7:30 PM
