NOTICE: For those who voted early or by mail in the 2024 General election
There are some 60,000 names of people who voted in the North Carolina November 2025 Election whose votes are now being challenged in a lawsuit because of incomplete voter registration associated with their Voter ID. Additional information is available at the NC Board of Elections website. This is the only election in the country that is still unsettled, 4 months after the election.
On March 21, a three-judge panel in the North Carolina Court of Appeals heard state Supreme Court candidate Jefferson Griffin’s ongoing case. According to Raleigh’s News & Observer, “At Friday’s hearing, a panel of judges . . . questioned lawyers for the two candidates . . . they did not say when they would issue a ruling.”
