Election Officials Seek Public Input on Modernization of State Election Management System, Campaign Finance Software
Raleigh, N.C. — The North Carolina State Board of Elections, in conjunction with the Office of the State Auditor, wants the public’s input on the planned modernization of the state’s election management system and campaign finance reporting software.
On Friday, the State Board issued a Request for Information (RFI) to collect suggestions from citizens and potential vendors about projects to replace these decades-old systems.
The State Board also launched a special webpage – NCSBE.gov/RFI – to make it easy for interested individuals to learn about and comment on these projects.
Information gathered through this Request for Information (RFI) will be used to understand current market capabilities, assess technology and software needs, and assist in drafting a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the election management system.
The deadline is November 30. See the media release here.
