Join Common Cause NC on Thursday, November 19, at 7pm to talk about how gerrymandering robs communities across the state of their voice in creating our voting districts and what we can all do to make sure we give people and their communities a real voice in the 2021 redistricting process.
We’ll look at an example from your area—how Hickory was split into different districts in 2019—to see what happens when politicians are solely responsible for drawing the lines and we the people are shut out of the process.
