The annual Spirit of King Community Service is led by local clergy and celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It is a collaborative effort between the Greater Hickory Ministerial Alliance and the Hickory Area Ministers. The guest speaker is the Rev. Julius Renwick, pastor of Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA.

It will feature a virtual choir directed by Dr. Ryan Luhrs, director of sacred music at LRU, the Hickory Choral Society and the church choir of St. Andrew’s Church
